Lacy Jenison

Lacey Jenison

Lacey is a graduate of Plano Senior High School and will start OU as a communication and speech disorders major. She is interested in pursuing a career as a speech pathologist as well as travel to Europe and Australia sometime in the future. She says, “When I stepped onto the OU campus, I knew this was where I was supposed to spend my next four years. However, money was a bit of an issue, so I spent a lot of time filling out scholarships to be able to go to my dream school. When I got this acceptance letter in the mail, I was so excited. This scholarship will cover some of my non-resident tuition fee and my books for OU classes. This will help me out so much this semester, and I am very thankful I was chosen for the OU Club of Collin County Scholarship.”

She says, “I am honored to be chosen for this scholarship. With its help in paying for tuition I will be that much closer to paying off college and going on to what means the most to me, inspiring other students to love music just like my first band director did for me.”
